"We are on a pattern of abuse in the city of Waukegan, and it has now led to our children." says Kevin O'Connor attorney for the teenager whose nose was broken by police officers while be detained and interrogated for a crime he had nothing to do with.
"He choked me....grabbed me by the neck...banged my head into the wall." says 15 year old Jonathan Garcia as he describes the brutality.
No charges have been brought against the officers involved. Jonathan Garcia's family has filed a federal lawsuit against the two unnamed detectives for the abuse.
Using violence and intimidation to try and force a confession from a child is a new low. What is next?
