Society In Decline? Mother Gets in Fist Fight with 10 y/o Son at Grocery Store Over Grapes

In a tragic and disheartening lack of civility a mother and son go fisticuffs over a dispute about grapes. The boy in the video was clearly stealing grapes in the produce section and his mother went to correct him. He verbally lets her have it first, and then it gets physical. Then the mother loses it completely.

What is going on in this country? Why are parents teaching their children to have a complete lack of respect for themselves and others? Below is another horrid example of parenting. While this family isn't breaking any laws, the state has since stepped in and taken their child for this video...as if the state will provide better care.
