Trump’s DOGE is Actually Cutting Bureaucracy—But Not the Kind That Matters

The idea of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) sounds great in theory. Who wouldn't want to see corrupt bureaucrats get the axe, wasteful spending slashed, and fraudulent government programs dismantled? For years, the federal government has functioned as a bloated, self-serving behemoth, funneling taxpayer money into a black hole of inefficiency while everyday Americans struggle under the weight of inflation and economic instability.

So far, DOGE has made some promising moves. Bureaucratic redundancies have been cut, and certain wasteful social engineering projects have been eliminated. But while the MAGA base celebrates these symbolic wins, a much bigger picture is unfolding—one that suggests the American people aren't actually getting what they voted for.

Because if the goal were really to eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse, then the first things on the chopping block should be the military-industrial complex, corporate subsidies, and the unchecked power of federal law enforcement. Instead, these institutions are being reinforced, even as the culture war is used as a smokescreen to pacify Trump's voters into thinking they're "winning."

The culture war playbook is simple but effective: amplify some of the most absurd examples of liberal bureaucracy, cut those programs, and use that as proof that the government is being "shrunk." Meanwhile, the real fraud—the unchecked spending on war, corporate welfare, and surveillance—remains untouched or even expands.

Take military spending. While Trump's base is told that DOGE is slashing federal budgets, he has openly called for increasing defense spending. The U.S. already spends $824 billion annually on the military—more than the next nine countries combined. And yet, somehow, that isn't considered wasteful?

The fraud and abuse that actually matter—the kind that enriches the most powerful players in the system—remains off-limits. And while the MAGA base celebrates millions of dollars in cuts to DEI initiatives, the real machinery of government corruption continues uninterrupted... by the trillions.

If there's one area where the government isn't cutting spending, it's surveillance. While Trump voters are led to believe that the Deep State is being dismantled, the reality is that it's just being rebranded.

The newly announced $500 billion "Stargate" AI initiative is a prime example. Sold as a way to keep AI out of China's hands, it's actually a massive power grab by the very same technocrats Trump's base claims to oppose. WEF-friendly figures like Larry Ellison and Sam Altman are running the show, building an infrastructure that will make government surveillance inescapable.

At the same time, biometric border security is expanding—not just to track illegal immigrants—but to normalize facial recognition and tracking for everyone. Once people are conditioned to accept mass surveillance at the border, it's only a matter of time before it becomes mandatory for everything from travel to banking.

And then there's digital ID, being marketed as an "election integrity" measure. But once in place, it won't stop at voting. It will be used for everything from medical records to financial transactions, laying the foundation for a total control grid.

So, while Trump voters cheer for DOGE eliminating DEI bureaucracy, they're missing the bigger picture: the infrastructure for total government oversight is being built right under their noses.

Another major psyop is the idea that the Deep State has been purged simply because the leadership has changed. MAGA is now celebrating the new FBI under Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, as if swapping out the director magically reforms an agency that has spent decades in entrapment operations and mass surveillance.

The same tools used to spy on Trump in 2016 are still in place. The same warrantless spying programs continue. The same FBI-led infiltration tactics remain operational. The only difference is that now, Trump's voters believe they're in control. But as history has shown, power doesn't change hands—it consolidates.

The ultimate goal of these psyops is to make people believe they're dismantling tyranny when they're actually just reinforcing it.

This is why Biden's supporters were silent as he continued Trump's war policies. It's why MAGA is now cheering for AI-driven government expansion, biometric tracking, and digital ID systems. The illusion of control is what keeps both sides trapped in a game where the house always wins.
